  • Limited frequency with which updates to reference documents can be published.
  • Inadequate search capability and no standard approach across all reference documents.Needed previously defined requirements validated for a Documentum implementation.

  • Provide unique Microsoft Word-based publication process that capitalizes on the flexibility of XML while shielding the user from its complexity.
  • Streamline the process for change request, updates, reviews via electronic workflow.
  • Provide contextual search capabilities that provide speed and accuracy.
  • Design a common user interface for viewing and searching USPTO reference documents.
