The USPS is an independent agency of the Executive Branch of the US Government, charged with delivery of the daily post.  It operates in a business-like way with more than 700,000 employees.

The Problem

• Needed previously defined requirements validated for a Documentum implementation.
• Needed alternative technologies proposed if Documentum was not the correct implementation strategy.
• Needed a ROM for total cost of ownership for the recommended implementation.Need to manage configuration of multi-million dollar program

• Conduct workshops to review requirements and user needs, gain insight into organizational goals, and IT vision and constraints.
• Conduct high-level market surveys of available Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions.
• Develop ROMs for possible solutions.
• Produce Blueprint with final recommendations and ROM.
