BOULDER, Colo. — USA Today, in a feature article, highlighted the Transportation Security Agency's airport access control project in which new security technologies, including biometrics, are being piloted at national airports. Flatirons performs a key role on the project to evaluate technologies to address airport security requirements other than passenger screening. Flatirons is responsible for all data-related aspects of the program, including the design and operation of the data repository to capture and manage all types of data related to the operational performance of each security device. Leveraging its data analytics expertise, Flatirons is able to not only ensure the collection of a complete set of data, but also provide critical analysis of the performance of each device in an operational environment.
