FAA System Operations (SysOps, ATO-R) Engineering Support
Flatirons Solutions has provided engineering support to ATO-R since 2002. We provide a broad scope of technical management, engineering, analysis, and domain integration support under this contract. We oversee the technical products of development contractors and research organizations and lead the effort to coordinate and advance Traffic Flow Management research and new concept development. Specifically, Flatirons responsibilities include:
SysOps Support
- Directorate-wide Earned Value Management System (EVMS) development and maintenance
- Performance measurement and management
- Support for FAA Enterprise Architecture (EA) activities for both SysOps programs and System-Wide Information Management (SWIM)
- Technical evaluation, analyses, and reviews
- Design, development, and deployment support [e.g., TFM, Corridor Integrated Weather System (CIWS)]
Traffic Flow Management – Modernization
- Planning, budgeting, and oversight including JRC and OMB support
- Systems and software engineering
- System performance modeling
- Development, administration, and upgrading of engineering tools environment
- Deployment and transition planning
Collaborative Air Traffic Management Technologies (CATMT)
- Concept of Operations development and evolution planning
- Advanced functional enhancement engineering and investment analysis
Flatirons Solutions was recognized by the COTR and System Operations management for critical technical support to the Traffic Flow Management Modernization program.
