Flatirons has applied years of content management industry experience to create a tailored version of our Systems Development Life Cycle methodology that maximizes success for content management, multi-channel publishing and digital asset management applications.  This methodology, SourceOnce™, is built upon a strong foundation of best practice systems engineering, software engineering, and project management processes, and provides our clients with the discipline, rigor, and completeness required to ensure project success.

SourceOnce™ is specifically designed to provide customer visibility, coordination, and buy-in during all phases of solution specification, design and implementation.  In addition to guiding the process by which content-based solutions are implemented, SourceOnce™ utilizes templates, best practices, and intellectual capital specific to content management applications throughout all phases of the project.  As part of the methodology, we work with our clients to tailor the phases, steps, and work products to meet each client’s specific needs while continuing to work within a proven, best-practices framework.  We also explicitly include a focus on change management and business readiness throughout the methodology.
