IRVINE, CA – October 3, 2012. Michael Wm. Denis, a 24-year veteran in the aviation, aerospace, and
defense industries and vice president of customer engagement at InfoTrust Group, Inc.
(www.infotrustgroup.com), will be presenting on multidimensional configuration management as the
critical component of optimizing maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) at Aviation Week’s MRO IT
Europe, October 9, 2012, at the Amsterdam RAI in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
New-generation aircraft generate terabytes of data on a daily basis in support of diagnostics,
prognostics and autonomics. This presents challenges and opportunities for airlines. In his presentation,
Mr. Denis will address:
- How airlines can optimize “smart aircraft” by implementing “smart technology”
- The disadvantages and drawbacks of using maintenance and content management systems designed and built 10 to 40 years ago
- How to realize revenue enhancements and cost savings of modern aircraft through the use of maturing operational capabilities, new processes, methodologies, and technology
In addition, Mr. Denis will lead a panel discussion on “Standardizing Lease Contracts & Maintenance
Reserves” and will moderate a roundtable on “The Future of MRO” during Aviation Week’s MRO Europe
event taking place October 9-11, 2012, in conjunction with MRO IT Europe.
Mr. Denis’s experience includes engineering, maintenance and supply chain management, autonomics
and aircraft health management, flight operations systems, and enterprise resource planning. Most
recently, Mr. Denis has focused on software-as-a-service (SaaS) and business process outsourcing (BPO)
models that optimize the profitability of capital-intensive, cash-flow-sensitive services.
