Adds to Deep Bench of Aviation and Aerospace Experts
Paul Saunders, a technology specialist who has been working for and advising airline operators, OEMs, MROs, and software vendors since 1998, has joined Flatirons Solutions and the TechSight/X team as global product manager.
Paul comes to Flatirons Solutions from Conduce Software where he served as operations director. He also has held roles with Eurocopter, Russell Adams, and Triumph Air Repair in the UK and Dubai, U.A.E., in business systems engineering, operations, and project engineering, leading teams in the design, development, delivery, and support of aviation software, including an approved electronic logbook along with data acquisition, productivity, and content distribution apps for iPad®.
“When it comes to the adoption of emerging technology in aerospace, particularly with regards to mobility,” said, JD Sillion, chief solutions officer for Flatirons Solutions. “Paul is a heavy weight visionary.”
Paul is often called upon for speaking engagements all over the world and is a regular contributor to aerospace publications including AircraftIT Operations eJournal, Aircraft IT MRO eJournal, Aviation Week, and others. Many of his presentations are available on SlideShare, with his “Tablet Strategy Bootcamp” presentation (which coined the mantra “If you want it bad: iPad. If you’re happy to wait: Windows 8”) garnering more than 33,000 views alone.
