Paul Saunders, Flatirons’ Global Solutions Manager, takes the next generation of training to the Final Frontier at the 2015 Content Management Strategies / DITA North America Conference. The conference takes place April 20-22, 2015, at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois.
During his April 21 presentation on “Next Generation Training,” Paul will lead a lively discussion on the content lifecycle management technologies and techniques that have been developed and harnessed over recent years that are now being applied to training content.
He’ll talk about how this is having a drastic effect on the way training information is authored, delivered, and consumed by ‘users’ as opposed to those whom we may have labeled in the past as ‘trainees.’
Concepts Paul will discuss include content reuse, mobility, consumerisation, user context, and multi-device support, as well as how these concepts are now delivering huge benefits as the next-generation of training with regards to the cost, efficiency, and successful training outcomes for both content authors and content consumers.
