Doug Sergent
Vice President, Customer Strategy
With over 36 years of experience in aviation, Doug brings a wealth of knowledge to Flatirons. He has held many roles throughout his career, including C130 navigator, aircraft maintenance, technical publications, business owner, account management, and sales. Doug is responsible for aligning Flatirons’ strategic initiatives with market trends and customer business goals. Based in Blue Ridge, Georgia, Doug is passionate about customer service and is a proud veteran of the US Coast Guard.
Steve Cameron
Chief Financial Officer
Steve has built his career at Flatirons Solutions, having joined in 1996 from the acquisition of Data Dimensions, Inc. He has held various finance positions from Controller to Finance Director, Senior Vice President of Finance, and now CFO, where he is guiding the company’s financial strategy with a steady hand. Based in Boulder, Colorado, Steve is dedicated to keeping the numbers sharp and the business running smoothly. Steve is a graduate of Arizona State University.
Olivier Joufflineau
Vice President, Solutions Management
Olivier is the go-to person for all things related to solutions and product management at Flatirons, mapping out our big-picture strategy and continuously tuning into customer feedback to keep things moving forward. From developing the first IETP viewer for Airbus and Boeing to building up our U.S. operations, Olivier has done it all—sales, quality, product, support, and R&D. He is passionate about advancing our products (and the industry) to the next level, believing that true innovation arises from caring about our work and making a real difference for customers.
Nirmal Kasinath
Managing Director, Flatirons India
Nirmal runs the show at Flatirons India, overseeing everything from engineering to HR while consistently pushing for smarter, more innovative ways to conduct business. Before Flatirons, he launched India’s first B2B beauty and wellness platform, coached startups, and led digital teams at CSS Corp. Based in Chennai, Nirmal is dedicated to turning big ideas into real results while making work enjoyable along the way. Nirmal is a graduate of the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky.
Rich Schafer

Rich is the tech mastermind at Flatirons, ensuring that all our systems, software, and processes run smoothly. After starting his career as a software engineer at Xerox and joining Flatirons in 2004, Rich has worn nearly every tech hat—from Architect to Director of Engineering—before stepping up as CTO. He has led everything from product engineering to DevOps, helping to transform Flatirons into a product powerhouse trusted by Fortune 500 companies. Based in Boulder, Colorado, and a proud University of California at Irvine graduate, Rich keeps us building innovative solutions and staying ahead of the curve.

As a graduate of the Institut Polytechnique des Sciences Avancées (IPSA) and HEC Business School, he is committed to keeping Flatirons innovative, efficient, and ready for whatever comes next.
